On our website we talk quite a bit about financial freedom. The idea of living independent of government assistance and intervention did not originate with us. Modern thinkers such as Robert Kiyosaki, as well as founding fathers like U.S. President Thomas Jefferson understood that tyranny comes wearing a banker's time piece more often than black boots, and that those wearing the red coats were working for the central bank of England.

So how do we survive and thrive in a system that we know will ultimately fail? By understanding the trends and patterns of history, learning valuable lessons from them, and taking appropriate actions to prosper now and weather the storm later.
